SO many things for which I am thankful, but in this Thanksgiving season I am particularly thankful for the gift of your friendship and the love and support that I have received from so many of you during the illness and eventual death of my mother on October 17th.

APA is an organization that offers us an opportunity to grow and develop in our professional lives. But perhaps of even greater importance, it offers us the opportunity to develop deep and abiding friendships that will last a lifetime.

You will never know how much it has meant to me to have received so many emails, calls and cards over the past few weeks.

For all of you, I am eternally thankful.

This is the season to be thankful and my heart swells when I think of this organization and the many friends I have made across this country. I will miss you all terribly, but as with corporate "downsizing", it is happening here at our presbytery. After 22 years, I will no longer be here nor will I be able to maintain my membership. I am thankful for what God's perfect plans are for me in the very near future, and all the others who have lost jobs, homes and a sense of dignity across this great land of ours. May God bless you all richly and thank you for friendships and for this great Association.
